Urgent action needed on climate!
Indivisible members from across Howard County, please contact Del. Courtney Watson. She is a member of the House Economic Matters Committee, which heard testimony today on the Clean Energy Jobs Act. Tell Del. Watson you want HB1158 to pass out of committee so that it can be voted on the House floor. This bill will create 20,000 new, good paying solar energy jobs, and at least 5,000 jobs in the offshore wind industry. And, in the process, will offset huge amounts of greenhouse gas emissions reducing our global climate change impact.
