Stop the Trump Administration’s politically motivated, unlawful use of the National Guard and Military on U.S. soil and abroad.
Areas of Focus Internal to the U.S
- Deployment of National Guard & Military to / occupation of US cities
- Potential use of National Guard & Military to detain individuals without due process (e.g., undocumented immigrants)
- Potential use of National Guard & Military for intimidation / suppression (e.g., voting)
Areas of Focus Abroad / Internationally
- Illegal use of the Military abroad (e.g., against Venezuela)
- Repercussions of Trump’s provocative warfighting threats (e.g., renaming of Department of Defense to Department of War; potential Nuclear Arms Testing/Buildup)

Stop Trump’s actions aimed at reducing Veterans Affairs / Veterans Benefits
Our Plan of Action
- Monitor the impact of National Guard & Military deployment to / occupation of US cities and assess how to effectively resist those actions.
- Prepare for resistance in Maryland (e.g., Baltimore) and nearby jurisdictions.
- Monitor the impact of illegal US Military deployment abroad (e.g., Caribbean and Venezuela) and assess how to effectively resist those actions.
- Assess the impact of court rulings – State / Federal / U.S. Supreme Court / International Courts (e.g., Insurrection Act, Posse Comitatus Act, Deployment of the National Guard & Military).
- Build relationships with veteran groups to join them in highlighting the military’s oath to the U.S. Constitution and protesting the illegal use of the military.
- Share information with members of IndivisibleHoCoMD and other allied groups to engage our community in resisting illegal actions by the Trump administration.
- Engage with our elected officials (Local, State & National).
